Solvents Industry Group becomes partner in European agency's safety at work campaign

The European Solvents Industry Group (ESIG) is once again a partner in the new campaign of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) for 2018/2019 entitled “Managing Dangerous Substances” that was launched on 24 April.

It enables ESIG to share its best practice, experience and materials in the field of safety at work with various European stakeholders on several occasions. ESIG has developed over the years an extensive package of safety tools to help industry and downstream users comply with the highest environmental and safety standards. The tools are available on its website and include best practice guidelines, safety videos, posters etc. ESIG also organizes twice a year a solvents’ training together with the UK Solvents Industry Association (SIA), which aims at providing employees, who are new to the solvents’ sector, with information on what solvents are and how they can be used safely.
